Rotterdam, Netherlands, September 24, 2024 – Metro Awakening, the highly anticipated virtual reality game set within the acclaimed Metro franchise, will be released on November 7.
The announcement was made today during Sony’s State of Play Showcase, where a brand-new trailer provided a more detailed glimpse into the game’s narrative and immersive gameplay. Composed by Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro Awakening narrates the origin story of one of Metro’s most significant characters.
Developed and published by Vertigo Games in collaboration with Deep Silver, Metro Awakening is now available for pre-order on PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest 2 and 3, Steam VR, and Viveport.
The pre-order options include both Standard and Deluxe Editions. The Deluxe Edition, which will launch on Viveport on November 7, includes exclusive in-game items and provides a 10% discount, 48-hour Early Access to the game on November 5 (available exclusively on PS VR2 and Steam VR), and additional bonuses.
